Material Damage Specialist/Third Party Administrator

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Mitchell estimating or other material damage appraisal estimating systems familiarity
  • Understanding of commercial auto claims
  • Ability to audit outside vendor estimates on various estimating platforms
  • Ability to write your own updated supplement or estimate on Mitchell
  • At least 5 years insurance company or comparable experience
  • Ability to read and understand policy language
  • Holds an Adjuster License in the following states – CA, NV, AZ, WA, UT, AK, TX, FL & OR or able to obtain same within a reasonable period
  • TPA experience

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Work with independent adjusters and appraisers for multiple states
  • Handle pending of 45-50 cases inclusive of commercial auto damage and other transportation losses
  • Pending may include liability claims
  • Motor truck cargo legal liability claims handling experience a plus
  • Effective writing, negotiation, and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of the California Automobile Reinspection Program as mandated by the state of California

SALARY RANGE:

$65,000-$85,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Commercial Auto and Transportation Claims Examiner

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Investigation, analysis, and direct oversight of full case load of commercial auto liability and transportation claims
  • Review independent adjuster reports for accuracy
  • Promptly communicate with clients to provide outstanding customer service and results
  • Promptly communicate with insureds, claimants, independent adjusters and attorneys as necessary
  • Strategize and act to obtain best possible results for claims.
  • This position requires knowledge regarding commercial insurance coverage
  • Promptly evaluate moderate to severe bodily injury claims
  • Be an organized, effective communicator, and possess excellent analytical, writing, negotiation, and follow-up skills

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to read, understand, and apply commercial policy terms and endorsement forms
  • Minimum of 5 years of adjusting experience
  • TPA experience an advantage
  • Claim Center and Image Right experience a plus
  • Strong transportation claims handling experience preferred
  • Ability to accurately handle a full case load in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding organizational skills and maintenance of diary system
  • Competence in using MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and the ability to learn new IT applications such as carrier or TPA systems
  • Ability to draft coverage review memos

Commercial Claims Supervisor 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Directs and controls the work of the TPA Claims Establishes unit goals for service, production and work quality.
  • Focuses on the staff to deliver an exceptional customer service
  • Assigns and monitors claims to unit
  • Supervises all aspects of claim investigation and damage
  • Interprets expert reports when making a final determination as to proximate cause, negligence and damages.
  • Interprets whether a specific policy provides coverage or if an exclusion / partial exclusion would
  • Review and update Coverage Review Memos for submission to
  • Review and update moderate to severe Bodily Injury Evaluation and Case Summary
  • Monitor and manage claims referred to client’s Special Investigation Unit (SIU).
  • Review and approve settlement authority requests and payments that exceed staff authority levels
  • Reviews active and closed files in compliance with Quality Assurance program to identify trends, provide direction, and provide feedback to unit.
  • Evaluate performance of team members and conduct mid-year and annual performance reviews and objective setting.
  • Conducts training on a group and individual basis on all aspects of the

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from an accredited four year college or university; OR five (5+) plus years supervisory experience
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written skills
  • Strong background in Commercial Auto and Transportation lines
  • The ability to function professionally in high volume and/or adversarial
  • Competence in using MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and the ability to learn new IT applications such as carrier or TPA ClaimCenter/Guidewire and Image Right system experience a plus.

SALARY RANGE:
$85,000 – $100,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience

Liability Claims Adjuster

Job Description
The job of a claims adjuster entails the handling of liability and automobile claims. Property experience a plus.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Performing on-site inspections.
  • Performing investigation including interviews & recorded statements
  • Evaluating insurance coverage
  • Making claim adjustment recommendations
  • Preparing comprehensive reports
  • Maintaining control of a full case load

Requirements
Experience and Education should include:

Property Claims Adjuster

Job Description

The job of a property claims adjuster entails the handling of residential and commercial property claims.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing on-site inspections of damaged property
  • Preparing estimates of repair using Xactimate
  • Preparing inventories of damaged property including valuations
  • Performing investigation including interviews & recorded statements
  • Evaluating insurance coverage
  • Making claim adjustment recommendations
  • Preparing comprehensive reports
  • Maintaining control of a full case load

Job Requirements

Experience and Education should include:

  • Minimum of three years claims handling experience in P&C claims
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills

Job Description – Property Adjuster

Write claims reports, property estimates, evaluate contents losses. Make justified and documented claims handling suggestions based upon the facts and policy language.  Analyze coverage, write your own Xactimate estimates and be able to settle losses.  Have a familiarity with ISO policy forms and manuscript policy language. Have a full understanding of the California Fair Claims Settlement Practices Regulations.  Compose comprehensive written reports and letters.

Lift and carry a 50-pound ladder.  Climb up on roofs.  Go below structures.  Enter locations that have experienced water, smoke and/or fire damage and may contain mold or other hazardous materials

 Work outside the office, with minimum of supervision. Operate a motor vehicle for long periods of time.
